Tomorrow the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 begins in Switzerland. It will fill stadiums, flood screens, and most importantly continue a movement generations in the making. The women’s game has never grown in a straight line; it has had to fight for airtime, for pitches, for respect. Yet every major tournament lifts the ceiling a little higher and anchors the sport a little deeper into everyday culture.
Behind Every Player, a Circle of Believers
Success on the pitch is never individual. Ask any professional and you’ll hear the same names: parents, siblings, friends, grass-roots coaches who drove cold morning carpools and patched muddy knees. At our recent shoot, former Austrian international Nadine said it best:
